Post Game Eagles Edge Out Packers 10-7

Can't blame the coach or the QB for the veteran RB turning the wrong way

I was at the game. We had a WR who ran into another WR on routes more than once. Eagles were in two high and took away a lot of what we do because we couldn't run.
I am not an MLF fan, but given how the OL and receivers played, I'm not sure any play caller would have mattered. The effort was that bad.

I've been trying to tell everyone that for weeks. You have to run the football to pass in the NFL, hell in all levels. This OL = bag))
Follow up question: admonishing the GM aside, who would you play on the OL at this point? I'm looking at this from a problem solving standpoint. We're on Apollo 13 and the O2 tank or whatever it was blows out, blaming the manufacturer isn't an option for survival. I don't see Morgan as viable, he just has no anchor. Banks is just OK even when healthy. There's no trade to be had any more. Who are the best 5, regardless of contract or draft status, to try to get better?

Losing our starting center just made this even harder but let's say he's done for the year. You start Ryan at center, Walker is the LT because at this point no ones better there. I would slide Tom to RG and play Kinnard at RT. The big issue is LG because Banks isn't healthy and plays like a fat dancing bear.... Rotate Morgan and Jennings in and let them compete for it.

Outside of that not sure we have any other things to try this year.

It's frustrating that they seemingly can't get their best players on the field because of contracts and predetermined positions.

So, we have a bad offensive line.

Even our coaches must see that.

What's infuriating and I think poor coaching is our coaches stubbornly try to run the offense they want to if they had a good offensive line.

I don't have all the answers. But, I do think a quick hitting, Bill Walsh west coast offense would work better. Except, from the football smarts shown each week, I doubt that the players and coaches are mentally able to do it.

I'm lost.

But, what I know and believed even during the great first weeks is that our offensive line can't power LaFleur's offense. Yet, he stubbornly just bangs his head against the concrete wall.

Coaching to what you want rather than what you have is bad coaching.
