Post Game Eagles Edge Out Packers 10-7

Love said he thought it was a favorable look, so he handed it off. So there's your issue, they rushed to the line, rushed the play. Honestly he should've called a TO himself if he wasn't sure.

Did we have a timeout? I didn't think so. But if we did and they did that, forget Lambeau and just go to the sledding hill.

If it was a Run Pass Option - "AND THEY'RE LINEBACKER IS CALLING OUT THE PLAY AND YELLING HE'S GOING TO RUN IT RIGHT IN HERE - GET OVER HERE!" Then By Golly the Gosh Darn THE OPTION is not to hand it off to the running back to run right where the Linebacker is yelling our guy's going to run.

None of this makes Love look like a championship QB. None of this makes the Packers look like a championship team.

THE FLOWER "I think the run game was effective."

I don't think the Evil Chinese was this disingenuous as she was preparing to dump my ass.
ml is delusional. or maybe he is just too embarrassed to admit that his conservative play calling is costing the packers games. every team in the nfl now knows how to beat his team. the rest of the season is not going to be pretty.

I think your reading too much crap and not using your eyes. You have to run vs two shell, the defense is set up to take away the pass. This craptastic take that he's too conservative is nuts. You can run the short bubble screen game or run vs the defensive looks he's getting, if you can't do that then your cooked. That garbage OL is the issue not his play calling.

I vote to do what I did in electronic football. line up all your guys in a row and put the ball carrier behind them and odds are a hole gets opened up and the guy buzzes his way to a TD. LOL

Yes, most teams should run against 2 shell.

But, not when the defense knows the play. And, not with our offensive line when the games on the line.

2 many little mental mistakes and physical losses.

We've played one good half since teams got their 'Sea Legs' week 3. It was second half against the Steelers when Love was given the keys.

If LaFleur coaches like he has (I understand somebody else may be setting up the play sheet, but LaFleur is calling them and directing strategy) we lose

If the Pack insists on running to pass, they'll run to golfing and fishing in early January

so you agree with ml that our running game was effective? that 3.5 yards per rush is effective? the eagles gave up an average of 4.4 yards per rushing attempt before they met the packers. i've seen ml be creative before. but not recently.

and yes, i do agree with you 100% that our ol is the problem. i'm not disputing that at all. but when banging your head against the wall isn't working, you need to try something else. or just accept the fact that you will have to hold the opposing teams to less than 7 points in order to win games.

There's no easy answer with this. There were plenty of times ML had receivers schemed up and running wide open. There were plenty of times the QB couldn't get to them because of pressure. There were times he got to them and the play was wiped out by alignment penalties. There were times the QB had time but the receivers ran into each other.

If you want to feature your passing game and feature the QB then your passing game needs to be a HELL of a lot more disciplined and detailed and mature. Detailed and mature, I keep going back to that in my head. Otherwise we're in a position like Monday where half the time something was breaking down that made it impossible or very difficult for the QB to access these open receivers, but when the play does go well we all expect him to be 100% perfect. And hey, maybe that's reasonable if we want to say he's a top 5 QB. For me I think it's tough to ask that of any QB. It's like handing him a bag with 10 sandwiches, 5 have wagyu steak and the other 5 have cow sh!t, and then you complain that he's not enthusiastically biting into every one.

Yep, I think right now if you flipped Daniel Jones and Jordan Love on teams people would be saying Jordan Love is running away with the MVP while Daniel Jones probably does not have a win with the Packers.
