Howard, you're probably right.I think Denver had a plan around their defense against us. They started the pre-game scuffle, and then on our first possession, I thought they played a little dirty and got in some cheap shots. And with the altitude, that early play and made us work hard in H1 for everything; and by H2 the OL got worn down and out of breath.
But, they are professionals. They shouldn't get worn down. And, they are also offensive linemen. It's a hard game. They are supposed to be the tough engine of the team. They're failing and are the weakest link of the Pack. Your observation which may or may not have been an excuse - to me - makes them look worse. Makes them look like they can be bullied and pushed around without much effort. They need to buck up.
And, LaFleur needs to strategize something that will reduce the negative impact the offensive line has on the offense.
