Packers 2026/27 Season Thread

I sure hope GB does not trade for him at over $5 million for one year and his questionable work ethic he's not worth it. Hopefully it's one of those things were GB let their name get out there to try to drive up trade value for Indy. They have done it before to let agents say GB were interested in a guy there were not to let the agent try to get more for his client.

Ballard met with Richardson's representative during the scouting combine and authorized him and his client to speak with other teams in regard to a potential trade. No deal is imminent and it's unclear whether one will materialize. A source told ESPN the Green Bay Packers are among the teams most interested, given their uncertain backup quarterback situation.
 
None of what MLF said was that surprising, other than they took too damn long to deal with it. Part of that is on Gute for not doing a better job on finding guys that fit. They should have traded Doubs after his hissy fit.... Hobbs had issues, Walker was a wildcard at UGA..not sure why they thought he would be different though I will say he really did get put in some bad spots schematically....

I am staying on my sb( they need some damn leadership in that locker room rant)

is there a video of his press conference? i could not find it on the packers website. they had gute's. maybe i'm looking in the wrong place?
 
i guess it wasn't a "press conference". he wasn't at a podium. he was just talking to reporters one on one?

He then added, "We really wanted Moore out of the return game, now we think the Skyy's the limit." After these comments an anonymous internet user approached Gute with a cane and thrashed him about the neck and shoulders as retribution for the puns. The internet user is still at large.
