It reminded me of several games last year. The Bucks look inept on the court, and fall behind. In fact they fell behind by 16 last night, and ended up winning it by 6, with a solid 3rd quarter followed by an amazing 4th.

Giannis fouling out looked like it was going to put Houston back in the game. Middleton, Lopez, Matthews, and Ilyasova weren't on board with loosing. They did their jobs, and the Bucks won one that could have easily gotten away.

It was nice seeing Connaughton get 10 points in the 1st half. It helped rest starters at times so they were fresh when the 4th quarter rolled around.

Charles Barkley thinks the Bucks have a lousy offense. It will give them a solid regular season but fold up like a cheap suit when the playoffs roll around. I want to say he doesn't know what he's talking about, but most of the time, he's pretty close to right on most observations on the floor.

See Harden still probably salty about not winning MVP over Giannis as he refused to give Bucks credit for employing same style D they used last year to shut him down again last night and limiting him. He said it was all on him and not the defense.

Work in progress with Matthews, Lopez, Korver..Coach Bud went 11 deep, clearly the rotation is not set which is fine. Floor spacing was ok not great but its 1 game out of 82 so not going to read to much into it. Lets see what this team looks like after 20 games, clearly on paper top 2 team in the East, lets see how dominate

Connaughton may be my second favorite player on the team. He is a great addition to this roster. Infuses energy when ever he is on the court. As to the game, the first half shooting was awful. They hadn't played in 5 days so it's understandable. They really tightened things up in the second half as far as turnovers and getting better shots. Once again they frustrated Harden in shutting him down offensively. Coach Bud's plans for Harden are perfect. Don't let him go left at any cost.

One other thing, I absolutely hate the replay thing. May be the dumbest idea the NBA has implemented.

Connaughton was tied with Giannis for team lead in scoring first half at 10, I believe? He was a catalyst off the bench that kept them in it when others were having problems. He didn't do a lot in second half, but didn't spend a lot of time on the floor. What impressed me most was when Giannis fouled out, and others stepped up after one bad possession, and began dominating play without him in there. There seems to be some cohesiveness developing.

I gotta admit it though. That first hand perplexed me. They just didn't seem to have any urgency about things. Kind of sleep walked through it. This come from behind mentality is going to make me have the big one!

The foul were Giannis fouled out was a joke. I question if Giannis even touched him. Need to start giving guys T's who flop or at least start fining them big time to get rid of it when its clear they flopped.

He undercut him...50/50 call

They had not played on what 6 days so reasonable they came out slow. Thats plus Bud is still trying to figure out a rotation, thats going to be fun to watch
