Beating Maryland, even though it was in the Kohl, was awesome. The play, by Davison, at the end, was amazing. The fortitude to throw the ball off the in bound man, and that ice 3 from the corner, two consecutive plays that stunned everyone. The inbound pass from Trice was perfect. He looked off the pass very well, before making it. A designed play that was perfectly executed.

We need more cowbell! I'm talking about Potter. Even if they decide to do a little side by side play with Potter and Reuvers. We need to see what they can do together in a game. As for Potter? He's pretty darned good.

Every day, Kobe King looks a little better out there.

It's good to see Gard is using other players, not just Trice, to make plays. That was a recipe for disaster. Too bad Gard didn't see it sooner, because a lot of people did, and the opposition saw that Trice would dribble into double teams and pick up the dribble, then be force into dumb moves.

Best 2 seconds of basketball by Davison ever. Deflection of inbounds pass and tip off the Maryland player standing out of bounds then coming off the double screen to drain the game winner was incredible. Fun end to a hard fought game.

I've been waiting since his freshman year to see Davison take a game on his shoulders at the end, and turn what looks like a loss into a win. He got the opportunity, and showed he has ice water in his veins. I think you're right. It has to be his best 2 seconds of basketball ever. It's right up there with one of the very best 2 seconds I've ever seen. I'd have loved to have seats in that corner, for that finish.

Great win last night. Couple of observations
- Potter was great on the offensive end but still has issues on defense...defensive rules vs. those ball-screens. It’s more of a system thing and it takes time. By March I can see more minutes for him in crunch time
- Trice played a fantastic floor game. 4 assists, controlled pace. The shot is not there like last year.
- While Davison made the play on defense all the credit to Wahl who was outstanding on the ball for the inbound and King’s ball denial. Just great team defense
- Wahl is going to be a top 10 player in the conference next year.
- King needs to be more selfish, i notes that last week. He’s the only guy who can create his own shot.
- Like how Gard is using Reuvers, Potter has helped reduce his minutes and he’s fresh down the stretch. Was fantastic on defense the last 5-7 minutes

One note on Trice way he’s so important on the floor even when his shot did not drop:
Last night vs Maryland

Cowan vs. Trice: 0-6 shooting, 0 points

Cowan vs. everyone else: 6-8 shooting, 16 points

I like that they actually ran a play on that last shot. Not just a toss in to a guard and have him dribble around and try to create a shot. Hopefully Gard has figured out that he does not have that kind of guy this year, though I think King would be his best option.

This team is building a tournament resume. Playing much better than they were earlier in the season. Hopefully they have another 8-9 wins left in them. That should get them into the tourney.
