I came to a conclusion last night that the KC Chiefs are by far the most dominating team in the NFL, and that it starts with coaching and goes down through their roster. If Reid and company don't win the whole show again this year, it's because Mahomes was injured.

He had 5 players catch 4 or more passes last night. He's a master at spreading the ball around, and every single receiver knows that when you complete a route, there are ways to still get open. Use them, because Mahomes will find a way stay on his feet, and can throw with authority even on a dead run.

Andy Reid knows how to harness players' ability. I think he's going to win another Lombardi Trophy. He deserves it if they keep going in this direction.

Meh only takes one game in the playoffs look at GB 2011 15-1 regular season crap the bed 1st game in the playoffs.

Agree with TW. Hill, Watkins and Hardman is like a track team, there is not one defense who can match that speed. And then there is Kelce....Edwards-Helaire was a brilliant pick. And that QB is pretty damn good

The league is all about exploiting matchups and KC is the best I have seen in years. Also credit to Bieniemy

Bieniemy should have reached OC level a few years ago. He's a real student of the game. He's spent years, shuffling from team to team as a coach, learning more, and storing it all up to use it in an offense. Reid is the kind of head coach who not only respects that, but wants that from his assistants. A good HC is never really any better than the assistants he hires. They're the ones that make the machine run, by oiling the components, and making sure they're in top condition.

Eric will be a head coach after this year, if they repeat. I remember a game in 1990. He played for Colorado. Behind 12-0 going into the 4th quarter, he took the team on his shoulders and scored 4 TDs in that quarter alone, to win the game. I think he had 150 or more yards. But what impressed me most, and stuck with me, was how he'd get hit hard, get up, and get the ball in his hands on the next play and give it everything he had. They could knock him down, but not out.

That's what I see in him as a coach. That same drive, and ability to get back up, and continue doing the best you can.

I truly think he's gonna be a heckuva HC soon. Andy Reid is a different cat and he develops talent within the coaching ranks. That developed talent then develops the player talent and Bienemy has to be given credit for his part. I sure hope he gets that HC opportunity soon as I would love to see his shaping of a team.

KC in one way is the exact opposite of the Packers - they are not afraid of smaller/quicker receivers. Gute and Co. seem to focus on size, while the KC personnel people and Reid are just fine with those shorter elusive guys. Ervin is sort of a move in that direction, but I wonder if at some point ML might not want another guy like that and push Gute to find him one.

I am mixed on Bienimey that he does not call his own plays in KC so how much is that offense him and how much is he just along for the ride with it being Reid and him calling the plays.

The trick is finding those short quick guys that can actually catch a pass. We've had some WR's with speed, but could never run routes consistently and/or catch the ball.

not really a trick. if you want good receivers, you usually need to draft them before the fifth round. granted, there are exceptions - like lazard.
