Rodgers Wants Out

I don’t think he’s sitting out or getting traded, still think money makes it go away for this year.
And then GB has to deal with it down the road. I think they're trying to mortgage long-term stability for the short term. Which while I don't necessarily disagree with, is not very GB like.

We will all be on the edge of our seats when June 1 hit I guess. .. LOL

If you were Mark Murphy, wouldn’t you do that too? He’s going to peace out right around the time any such extension goes nuclear, won’t be his problem.

I think Rodgers returns for this year. He will come in and say he never said he wanted to leave GB that it was all the media that did that. He won't talk about his future because I think both sides will know that 2021 will be his last in GB. GB will try to do all they can to get to the SB this year but after this year you will see a lot of change in GB starting with #12.

Hell, he may have more options after this year even though he’s a year older. Denver likely more ready to move on from Lock, Miami could be ready to move on from Tua, Pack has mentioned AZ and Murray which could happen if they don’t improve, team could clean house. May be a better market for him.

Plus there is a chance that one of those teams will have a high 1st round pick that GB can get instead of trading him now and that team finishing in the playoffs and getting a end of round 1 pick.

Teams are not going to trade a high first round pick for an old QB. Regardless of his MVP season last year. If they're picking high its because they need a long term answer at QB not a short term expensive rental.

What if you are a 6-11 team that your team was good accept for your QB play which sucked would you not think hey we Bring in Rodgers we can flip the script.

That’s the exception not the rule. If your 6-11 you have issues well beyond QB

If it's high first round picks you want, then you either won't get them or you'll get less of them. I'm fine with either scenario assuming the team believes it has it's QB in Love. If not, then you want that single high pick so you can take care of that position. Otherwise, getting 4-6 additional picks in the top 2 rounds is a solid way to build around your young QB.
