which also means that he's going to lean heavily towards what packers management would like us to believe.

the article lost a ton of credibility for me when dunne said "Another fact lost amid all mainstream blathering is that Gutekunst has been an outstanding GM." i spit out my kirkland vitarain zero all over my desktop when i read that.
It also paints Aaron in a light you dislike, I get it and as stated enjoy it or not.

Not sure he’s a shill for the organization.

i did mostly enjoy reading it. dunne is a gifted writer. but i stand by what i said. he knows which side his bread is buttered, and he did his best to paint rodgers as the villain and gutekunst as a hero. i can't blame him. the packers are his meat and potatoes.

I honestly think he was looking at a 3-4 year commitment starting in 2022. That’s why I think the money / contract stuff was a nice talking point but not the core issue. He knew he was not getting that type of a commitment. It’s was a power play
Denver’s not committing 3-4 years either are they?

maybe not a shill, but he wants to maintain that inside access for sure.
Actually, the organization as you put it doesn't like him at all because of that first article which was 100% on point a couple of years ago.( He got raped for it and as it turns out was spot on) He has inside knowledge because of being a beat writer in town and his cough cough "personal relationship" with someone inside ;)

if they trade as much as people are conjecturing, they're going to want 3-4 years out of him.
He wants out. It’s maybe that simple and whatever someone offers it’s good enough. Life post football is more important. And if he wins a Lombardi with a new organization in 2 years and walks everyone is happy
