To me I thought it was more Murphy trying to paint Rodgers in a bad light saying hey go with the flow don't be disruptive.

I dont care if you have Jordan Love or Mike Love from the Beach Boys you still top WR to account for and set up play action. Last thing you want is to stack the box because there is crap out there at WR

Still cap space and cash out figure in. If you would have to put Adams under the FT and play him that would be a large number do deal with when you already face a lot of cap challenges in 2022.

We don't know 99% of anything is true as very little has been said by either side that is confirmed so we can only speculate on what is being reported.

I have no doubt GB wants to keep Adams. They would be stupid not to. But ball is in his court if he wants to seek a new deal with the team.

The largest deal right now is what about 22 million a year average? So likely have to go north of that and guarantee him what 50+ million a year. Question is Adams who is going to be nearing 30 be worth that without a QB not named Rodgers throwing to him.

Yeah that's why I am saying the guarantee will be large I think 50 million if it comes close to that would be maybe a record for a WR and that's a lot to give up for a guy while great has been hurt a lot.
