Game 7

Good point. Might have made him more focused and not “thinking”. I’ve always been a believer that seeing a shot go threw is such a big deal with confidence, even a dunk or layup
Wonder how much time he works on his FT's in practice

Then wonder if it is all mental issues at the line
Part of it yes. Shooting itself is 75% mental. When I played some night the hoop looked like a moon crater it was so big. Some night like a thimble. What unique about arenas is the shooting background. I have done some shoot arounds in Atlanta and Philadelphia and it’s a shock

I was ok shooting in our HS gym, the background was basic. I could not hit a thing in Port Washington, one hoop was just off a stage. 100% mental

I'd already been hearing some of that. I just shake my head. His knock is free throws. He shoots about 9.5 per game. If he made one more per game, he'd be at about 80%, and nobody would say a word. That's ONE POINT A GAME.

Instead, they like to point out a specific game where he had a bad night and say; "See?"

I see Pack's point about playing the 76ers. We match up better. Atlanta is a bunch of upstart young guns who are unpredictable. They just do things, then think about it later.
nah, really? i thought that only happened in football where you have 22 players vs 5.

Then he needs to find a key to get over a mental block some little thing that brings in focus

I think no matter what will always have the one place you are always hot and one place it's a nightmare for you

It’s not that simple. Sometimes guys just are not great FT shooters. Not everyone is built to shoot 80%

It’s usually more than one, at least for me. Rims are different, so it lighting. And yeah I’ve crapped the floor in the home gym too. Sometimes it’s just not happening
