Depends what his motivation is which I have no clue. Part of me says he’s just done with the sport , other side says his competitive side kicks in. I don’t think money matters to be candid

That’s what I think most fans can’t accept is the money is not the root of the problem that “how can he walk away from millions”. He’s probably made more or at worst a significant amount of income off the field and I don’t mean endorsements. He’s not a dumb guy
 
If he could just walk away and not have it cost him anything, I would agree with that.
But if he has to give money back, then it becomes an issue.

Rich people hate to have to give/pay money back that they already have put in the bank.

Yep he's not walking away from $90 million and when $30 million of that he has to write a check back to GB.
