2019 draft prediction is open and will lock down 1 hour prior to round 1. Same as always player/round etc. Good luck to all !

I guess I'll get this party started, since I don't believe anything earth shattering is going to change my mind at this point.

Round 1 (#12) T J Hockenson/TE/Iowa

Round 1 (#30) Juan Thornhill/Safety/UVA

Round 2 (#44) Chris Lindstrom/G/Boston College

Round 3 (#75) Mecole Hardman/WR/Georgia

Round 4 (#114) Khalen Saunders/DT/Western Illinois

Round 4 (#118) Germaine Pratt/LB/NC State

Round 5 (#150) Foster Moreau/TE/LSU

Round 6 (#185) Sean Bunting/CB/CMU

Round 6 (#194) Justin Hollins/OLB/Oregon

Round 7 (#226) Alex Bars/G-T/Notre Dame

Round 1, #12 Cody Ford*, OT/G, Oklahoma
Height: 6-3. Weight: 329. Arm: 34.00. Hand: 9.75.
40 Time: 5.21. 10-Yd: 1.81. Three Cone: 8.27.
Bench: 19. Vertical: 28.5. Broad: 8-8.

Throughout the draft process, Ford continues to rise and teams in the top 20 have him in the running for their pick. Sources say that Ford really interviewed well at the combine. Teams really like his flexibility and rare athleticism. Ford was the starting right tackle for the Sooners, but some sources say that he also could be a good a guard in the NFL. Others think that Ford could stay on the edge, and some think a team could get away with him at left tackle. Some sources have compared Ford to Pro Bowler Duane Brown.

Round 1, #30 D.K. Metcalf**, WR, Ole Miss
Height: 6-3. Weight: 228. Arm: 34.88. Hand: 9.88.
40 Time: 4.33. Three Cone: 7.38.
Bench: 27. Vertical: 40.5. Broad: 11-2.

Metcalf was the talk of the Friday sessions of the combine after he ripped off a devastating 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds. On top of showing an elite combination of size and speed, the sculpted wideout did well in the field drills, catching the ball and showing off better-than-expected route-running. After his phenomenal workout, Metcalf looks like a secure first-round pick despite coming off a season-ending neck injury and not having much development in his route-running from college.

Round 2, #12 Dexter Lawrence*, NT, Clemson
Height: 6-4. Weight: 350.
Projected 40 Time: 5.00.

Lawrence was a tremendous freshman to help Clemson win the National Championship. NFL sources raved about Lawrence in the 2017 season, because he was impossible to ignore in 2016. Lawrence was an All-Freshman selection all over the nation while being the ACC Rookie of the Year for that season. He totaled 63 tackles with 9.5 tackles for a loss, seven sacks and a pass batted as a freshman. One national scout for a NFC team told me that they thought Lawrence was among the two most disruptive defensive linemen in 2016, along with Alabama's Jonathan Allen.

Round 3, #12 Germaine Pratt, ILB, N.C. State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 240. Arm: 31.63. Hand: 9.00.
40 Time: 4.57.
Bench: 24. Vertical: 32.5. Broad: 9-8.

In 2018, Pratt totaled 104 tackles with 10.5 for a loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles and three passes broken up. The senior played really well. He is a strong and physical run defender with the ability to defend sideline-to-sideline. Pratt also has shown some pass-coverage skills, and that is not that surprising considering he came to N.C. State as a safety. Pratt could be a three-down starting inside linebacker early in his NFL career. He had a solid combine.

Round 4, #12 Bryce Love, RB, Stanford
Height: 5-8. Weight: 200. Arm: 29.38. Hand: 9.13.
Projected 40 Time: 4.40.
Bench: 18

The speedster Love was banged up in 2018, plus defenses sold out to stop him. As a result, his numbers were down year over year. In 2018, Love averaged 4.6 yards per carry for 665 yards with six touchdowns. He had 18 receptions for 80 yards as well. He missed the Sun Bowl as he was recovering from December surgery for a torn ACL

Round 4, #16 Nate Davis, G/OT, Charlotte
Height: 6-3. Weight: 317.
Arm: 32.75. Hand: 9.25.

Projected 40 Time: 5.27.
Davis earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl after a strong 2018 season. He competed well in Mobile, but he really looks like a guard for the next level. Davis played tackle at Charlotte, but given his size, he probably will have to move inside to guard or center in the NFL.

Round 5, #12 Zach Gentry*, TE, Michigan
Height: 6-8. Weight: 262.
Projected 40 Time: 4.80.

For the NFL, Gentry projects as a Y tight end who contributes as a blocker with the ability to contribute some as a receiver. With his size, Gentry should be a nice red-zone target. In 2018, he notched 32 receptions for 514 yards and two touchdowns. In 2017, he totaled 17 catches for 303 yards and a touchdown.

Round 6, #12 Saquan Hampton, S, Rutgers
Height: 6-1. Weight: 205.
Projected 40 Time: 4.55.

In 2018, Hampton recorded 65 tackles with 13 passes broken up and three interceptions. He is a solid sleeper safety who is going under the radar, but he helped himself with a good combine.

Round 6, #22 Saivion Smith*, CB, Alabama
Height: 6-1. Weight: 200.
Projected 40 Time: 4.55.

Smith had only one year of serious playing time at Alabama, but he turned in some solid production in 2018 with 60 tackles, three interceptions and five passes defended. Smith has versatile size and upside to grow. The junior college transfer started out as a starter, lost his starting spot for part of the year, and then returned to the starting lineup in Week 7 for the remainder of the season after Trevon Diggs was injured.

Round 7, #12 Mecole Hardman, WR, Georgia
Height: 5-10. Weight: 187. Arm: 30.25. Hand: 9.00.
40 Time: 4.33.
Bench: 17. Vertical: 36.5. Broad: 9-11

Hardman's best value for the NFL comes as a returner who also can contribute some as a small wide receiver. As a senior, Hardman totaled 34 receptions for 532 yards and seven touchdowns.

RD 1 Brian Burns

Easy pick. Best player on the board. he will tilt the field for many years to come.

RD 1 Jeff Simmons.

Was a top 10 player before the injury . Still to good to pass on and still get that 5th yr option. Him and Clark will be a duo we will talk about for a long time

Rd 2 Dalton Risner

Comes in and starts at a guard spot day 1. Tons of ex at RT and he dominated in college. (did give up a sack in 2 yrs)

Rd 3 Yodny Cajuste

Good 6th or 7th man year 1 but will be the future at RT. Mean player that comes to bully. We want to fix the OL the last 2 picks do just that

Rd 4 Derrell Henderson

Home run hitter to add to the backfield. We want more play makers split carries with this guy and jones. By the 4th every D will be gassed. Ave over 8 yards a carry his last 300 touches.

Rd 4 Foster Moreau

Blocking TE with more athletic ability then LSU used.

Rd 4 trade up. David Long

More cb help. can never have enough... esp after all the injuries we have seen. Longbis prob the cleanest cb in the draft. Hell he may be the best. Dont let the numbers fool you. He wasnt challenged his whole career bc he locked down everyone. Biggest steal in this draft

Rd 6 Olabisi Johnson

Slot guy to replace cobb. skilled route runner that will use his quickness to get open underneath

Rd 6 Corey Ballentine

nice S prospect. Has played many different styles and positions.

Rd 7 Ty Summers

Had a down year stats wise but was a machine the 2 years prior.

12- Brian Burns EDGE FSU- I think this kid is going to be something special. With Z Smith will form a great EDGE duo with Fackrell in his 3rd spot. Burns’ combine will be crucial, he could go top ten.
30- Taylor Rapp S Washington Sure some are shaking their head, but Boston is our FS and Rapp is the next Harrison Smith.
44- Deebo Samuel WR South Carolina Slot guy with suddenness. This guy is ready to contribute sooner than later. The WR room now has plenty of talent.
75- Dawson Knox TE Mississippi- Raw, borderline elite speed and little expected of him in his first year.
114-Jalen Jelks Edge Oregon Was miscast as an interior pass rusher in college, but will shore up our edge position and the #4 option.
118- Chuma Edoga LT USC Developmental. Great footwork needs refinement. Backs up Bak
150- Darwin Thompson RB Utah St. The new checkdown option in LaFluer’s offense.
185- Michael Dogbe DT Temple- unheralded addition to the DL..
194- Chris Johnson S North Alabama 6’3” 205 Small school gem (TT type pick)
226- Ty Summers ILB TCU Good speed, should at the very least contribute on special teams
