2021 Off Season Thread

I don't care who doesn't like it Rodgers would be wearing Blue for 2 firsts and a third.... holy crap!!
For sure hell maybe someone sees thsi and GB gets a better offer for Rodgers.

Is Jared Goff the most expensive QB of all time? Cost the Rams 4 first round picks plus contract cash.

Could be ... talk about being able to build a base. If and it's a big if the lions play their cards right they could be a thorn in the NFC North for awhile. My goodness, what a haul.

Yep. If they do things right. It seems like we have been saying that for years but man o man did they get a nice haul. Here's hoping that they continue to screw up!

One of by buddies is a Lions fan, I always told him I don't understand how they've built their team. They play minimum 9 games a year in a dome, but they built themselves like they play in the mud. I would've been drafting speed, speed and more speed to take advantage of the track they play on. Maybe they'll do it now.

Goff could be a steal for the Lions. If Campbell can use him right he could be just as good if not better long term answer then Stafford. At worst you are taking a 2 year gamble on Goff before you can cut him. Lions with 4 1st round picks now in next 2 years have the chance to build a winner if they hit their picks.

Stafford is 5 years younger than Rodgers. Rodgers the better player right now but have to wonder if the offer would be the same. I'm sure LA is looking at Stafford, and then seeing the career resurgences by some of the really good ones in recent years and thinking Stafford has that in him.

The Rams trade makes about as much sense as the old Herschel Walker to the Vikings trade. The Cowboys got 5 players, and six picks, back in 1989. It helped propel them through the 90s, where they ended up winning the Super Bowl in three of the next six or seven years.

Like P.T. Barnum said; "There's a sucker born every minute."
