What the Packers will be missing is a change of pace back that can run and catch equally.
Felton would fit that very well and the Packers can probably get him in 3rd-4th round.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that players who play certain positions at certain schools are going to follow the same path past players. So wonder if KC thought damn let’s not draft this QB from Texas Tech because he’s a system QB in a system that fails in the NFL

The position isn’t valuable and there is only a marginal difference, value-wise, between the top backs on the market and those who are likely to sign for relatively nothing.

And a draft pick would be even cheaper, and be around longer, than Mike Davis

I saw a list of the salaries of SB winning RBs each year going back to 2009, I don’t think any of them were over $2.5m per year. Correlation does not equal causation but having a well paid feature back is not a feature of recent SB winning teams.
