2023 Badger Football Thread

Fickell needs to tell several players that you can leave the program you will not even be a backup next year if you return. Even be the guy to take scholarships away from guys if they don't deserve them. Even these last 2 games the coaching staff needs to start benching guys and putting in other guys to send a message.

We're certainly going to see what the coaches and players are made of these next two weeks.

I think this has been building and probably all season.

And, it's about time the wheat gets cut from the chaff

Badgers announce they will be playing in Ireland vs Pitt in 2027 in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.

it's been a rocky season for the badgers, but despite not living up to the preseason hype recapturing the axe and getting a bowl game should give them something to build on.

Looks like a lot of sites are projecting Badgers to play in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30th. Seen Auburn and Texas A&M as possible teams they could play.

Miami running back Donald Chaney Jr. is in the transfer portal. Has 852 career rushing yards and 6 touchdowns.

Notre Dame 5th-year senior center Zeke Correll is in the portal, he was recruited heavily by Fick and his folks as well as UW old staff before going to ND, which would be a very big pick-up.

Kansas State quarterback Will Howard has entered the portal as a grad transfer, he announced on social media Monday. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Howard was a four-year starter for the Wildcats and led them to a Big 12 title in 2022.
  • He accumulated 5,786 passing yards, 48 passing touchdowns, 25 interceptions, 934 rushing yards, 19 rushing TDs and one TD reception at Kansas State.

A slew of Michigan State guys jumped including the starting QB and starting Right Tackle.

Tons of talent to be had this year....

Will Fickell consider a QB or go with the tranfers he got last year and the incoming 4 star freshman?
