2025 NFL Season Thread

The whole icon pic when Mercein had his hands up showing he wasn't pushing Starr forward...then again, isn't the rule against pulling the player forward and not so much the pushing?
Prior to 2006, both pushing and pulling were prohibited. In 2006, the NFL clarified that pushing was legal, but pulling remained illegal.

Ok here's the thing, this whole damn league from the teams to the fans are bunch of whining Baby), who the hell cares about the tush push? WTH is GB involved? They need to pull their head out of their backsides already.... focus on building a winning FB team.

About had it with Gute and Murphy can't clean out his office fast enough.

Gonna be business as usual with Policy taking over...not sure much changes unless they went outside the organization

Was looking at Patrick Mahomes deal. He's set to be a UFA at 37 years old. His contract has 2 void years on it right now in 2032 and 2033. There is $60 million dead cap in each of those years. Just think when he does retire the amount of dead cap KC is going to have to deal with as they keep redoing his base salary and roster bonus each year into SB so they can lower the cap each year. Just going to get worse each year as in 2026 his cap is $78 million and 2027 it's $74 million so once again they will kick the can down the road in those years. 10 years from now KC is going to the the Saints with having no cap room to do much.

So Wednesday will find out if rumors are true and that Rodgers was waiting for Pat McAfee to have his appearance in Pittsburgh were Rodgers will show up and announce he will sign with Pitt.

Shows you how bad he was if no other team in the NFL thought he could start for them.

The Jets think they got a steal in center Josh Myers (one year, $2 million), who started 56 games for the Green Bay Packers. He's projected as a backup, but he could push incumbent Joe Tippmann, Glenn said. The Jets thought Myers would land a starting job somewhere. He fell through the cracks, which sometimes happens in free agency.
