If i get drafted by Jerry and become a star player I just have my agent tell him I see how you shit on others this is my number you pay it or I just show up until I become a FA you can tag me if you want but if you do I won't talk contract with you I just play those 2 years on the FT and leave. So your choice is not to dick around with me and pay me or trade me to a team that will or just play me the next 6-7 years and let me walk in FA.

I didn’t realize it was non contact too, that isn’t good. Hopefully just a strain.

In response to Micah's comment about "other teams taking care of their players" . . . . while I agree that it can be in the team's best interest to get deals done sooner, let's not think that they're doing it solely because they "want to take care of their players". They started doing it because players have in the past, and are currently holding out from participating to FORCE the team to do a deal early. But they all want the new contract now, because then they can get that next big contract sooner as well . . . .

In Parson's defense Jerry is notorious slow in dealing with deals. He likes to drag out talks and wait to the last minute to pay a player. Which for Jerry has usually ended up in him paying more money as the top players have made more money when prices for players rose while Jerry was dinking around during contract talks. Also Jerry has had bad habit of making back handed insults about players to the media during contract talks.
 
Parsons has double digit sacks every season he's been in the league, 1st team AP twice and 2nd team once. He missed 4 games last season, still had 12 sacks and Jerry Jones is somehow trying to use that against him. Signing Parsons long term is the easiest, slam dunk no brainer move possible and only a brain dead ego maniac like Jerry Jones could come close to botching it.
