Because he is raw and needs coaching...has the intangibles, but if you think he's a shutdown day 1 corner, think again.
didn't say he was a shut down corner - just saying I find it hard to believe he has negative value where they picked him.
 
did a little digging.

Brandon Cisse allowed an average of 20.1 yards per reception in 2025, the third-worst mark among draft-eligible cornerbacks. However, this figure was heavily skewed by his performance against Texas A&M, where he allowed 138 yards on just 3 receptions (46.0 yards per catch).

When excluding the Texas A&M game, Cisse allowed 14.7 yards per reception on 15 catches in the other 11 games, significantly better than his overall average.

for the season, cisse allowed a passer rating of 78.9

i'm just trying to have a conversation, mark. keep some active discussion going. i'm not questioning your expertise. plus, i'm trying to remain hopeful for the upcoming season. i apologize if my posting of stats was over the top. you know i'm a stats guy.
