These salaries are mind boggling to meThe #Lions and Pro Bowl LB Jack Campbell agreed to terms on a 4-year, $81M contract extension, sources say. He gets $20.25M per year with $51.5M guaranteed.
Well folks this is now what sets the table for the Packers to talk with Cooper. Would you pay Cooper as much or a little more?
I like Cooper and believe in him as much as anyone but why in the world would they be considering an extension for him at this point? He hasn't been near as good as Campbell and they haven't even settled on a defined role for Cooper yet.The #Lions and Pro Bowl LB Jack Campbell agreed to terms on a 4-year, $81M contract extension, sources say. Athletes should stay out of politics. At least that’s what I’ve heard over the past few years.#Giants QB Jaxson Dart addressed teammates in a meeting yesterday to discuss his introduction of President Trump last week, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Other team leaders spoke up as well, and Dart and the players worked through it. They are moving forward.
I would have not talked to my teammates. If they have an issue with who I support politically that's there issue. If they got an issue with it that's on them to deal with. No one should have to explain why they support a person. I would not be asking why they support anyone they like. Maybe Abdual Carter could explain why he's lazy and shows up to meetings late.
What anyone does on their own time, including athletes and other performer, is none of my business. However, when they bring their politics to the field, or the stage, that's when I have an issue.Athletes should stay out of politics. At least that’s what I’ve heard over the past few years.
That being said they each said their piece and now it’s done with. But the media will drag this out as long as they can.
As long as they are doing it on personal time they can do what they want. I just don't like it when players and coaches start talking politics during PCs invovling the teamAthletes should stay out of politics. At least that’s what I’ve heard over the past few years.
