History has a funny way of repeating itself and that’s exactly what happened at the Kohl Center on Saturday afternoon as the Wisconsin Badgers beat the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines 64-54. For the second time in seven seasons a top 5 ranked Michigan Wolverines squad came to Madison and left with a loss on their record. Unlike 2013, this time it was the Wolverines first loss of the season.

Finally, they played a reasonably complete game. No disastrous first half hole to dig out from. No huge offensive gap. Pretty solid defense all game. Contributions from the bench. King might be making a push to start ahead of Iverson who really is bringing nothing on the offensive end, though he continues to play solid defense.

They were also fortunate that Brazdeikis just had an off day. Freshman in a hostile venue - it happens. Plus Beilein has to just plain be tired of playing Wisconsin. UofM is 5-17 against the Badgers during his tenure.

Nice resume building win for Bucky.

Well said. They still had a few 4-5 minute drought that almost cost them but great win. 100% agree on King. Like the way Ford is getting his confidence back and Reuvers ccntinues to impress. This team will be a tough out in March

The Badgers are capable of competing against anyone if they play their best ball. Their biggest problem is putting together a full game which they did for the most part against Michigan.
