Badgers new Offense and OC

This is pretty much what I've always said about coaches, and the players they get to stock their teams. The players either fit the schemes you wish to run, or you change the schemes somewhat to fit their talents. The idea of a regimented offense or defense that's not flexible only works if the shelves are stocked, in depth, with quality players who fit into the specific assignments. When you see too many "packages" of players going on and off the field, to insure you have the right personnel to run a play, the less deceptive you are. You've shown the opposition the limitations, and pretty much given them a blueprint on how to defend, or attack what they see out there.

Longo's ability to adapt without changing the concepts, or in most cases even the schematic appearance of plays, means he has more 3 down players out there than a lot of teams have.

If you watch Michigan, OSU, and Georgia, as examples, they do make changes, but not wholesale changes that are like flags as to what's coming next.

It's going to be a lot of fun watching this team down the road. If you aren't excited about it yet, you sure will be, after they start playing a dynamic offense.
