Due to inclement weather, Wisconsin’s duals at No.6 Rutgers and Maryland have been postponed.

The Badgers were originally scheduled to face the Scarlet Knights tonight and the Terrapins on Sunday.

Makeup dates have not been determined.

UW returns to action Jan.31 when it hosts No.14 Illinois.

First coaches’ panel rankings released

The NCAA released its first coaches’ panel rankings of the season on Thursday and four Badgers earned recognition.

While these rankings aren’t the end all be all, the final poll plays a major part in selecting the field for the NCAA tournament in March.

Isaac Jordan leads the way for Wisconsin with a No.2 ranking at 165 pounds. Ricky Robertson is No.22 at 174, while Ryan Christensen (184) and Brock Horwath (285) are Nos. 31 and 32 at their respective weights.

On the surface, the exclusion of Ryan Taylor, who is ranked seventh at 133 by InterMat, may seem like an oversight. But Taylor will not be eligible for inclusion in the coaches’ panel rankings until he has five matches toward his record. He currently has just three.
