Brewers 2025 Season Thread

Brewers get a huge game 2 win to go up 2-0 and now one game away from going to the NLDS.

Did not understand why they went a bullpen game but it worked out after Ashby got hit around in the 1st. Miz pitched well out of the bullpen.

The Brewers who struggled all year with the HR have 3 in the game.

Be nice if MKE can finish the Cubs off in 3 straight and move on to the NLCS which looks like will be against the Dodgers.

i know the dodgers kind of stumbled into the playoffs, but they appear to have turned a corner in the playoffs. how do you feel about the brewers chances against them?

Swept them 6-0 in regular season but it's playoffs now Dodgers seem to have got hot now and not going to be easy.

they beat the phillies two games in a row in philadelphia. yeah, it looks like they are getting hot at just the right time.

Brewers 2025 Team Payroll = ~ 121.7M
Chicago Cubs 2025 Team Payroll = ~209.7M - 211.9M (Brewers Payroll = approx 57% of Cubs Payroll)
Philadelphia Phillies 2025 Team Payroll = ~$284M - $290M (Brewers Payroll = approx 42% of Phillies Payroll)
Los Angeles Dodgers 2025 Team Payroll = ~$350.3M (Brewers Payroll = approx 35% of Dodgers Payroll)

The Brewers are the Little Engine that could. And, all - most - of our players are playing hard so they can get on one of those other teams and make the real big bucks. Who knows, they might be hungry enough. Let's hope.

If they win out, we get another George Webb's

Now Cubs fans accusing Brewers of stealing signs when Brewers runners were on 2nd base. If the Brewers were it's legal because it's on the Cubs if they were tipping the pitches for the Brewers to read and let the hitter know what was coming. Teams been doing this for 100 years.

If teams don't want base runners stealing signs on second base shouldn't they stop them from getting there?
