With the emphasis in college on spread/passing offenses, there is less opportunity for RB’s to develop and/or put up numbers that grab the attention of scouts and media.
I think the days of the pound&ground RB’s is waning fast. What they are looking for these days is Alvin Kamara type RB, who can run pass routes as good as a WR.
You maybe see Jacobs go day one and day two another 2-3 RB's might go. This RB class not the best and IMO got a lot of guys who will be role players and even more who are just 3rd down backs and ST players.
I see Tony Pollard/Memphis getting some love as a late rounder on several recent mocks.
Great receiver as a RB and one of the best return guys in the draft.
