Disturbing game against Ohio State

Klesmit should have been given more time, earlier in the season. I don't think the coaching staff understood his value to the team to be honest. The same applies to Carter Gilmore. On Essegian, his shooting problems is only with the 3s. The same thing has happened to Hepburn. They just aren't getting them like they were.

But, on a positive side, related to Essegian, he's starting to drive to the bucket and his shooting inside is pretty good.

I have no idea what has happened to Wahl, but it's like his game in the 2 range, but outside the paint, is non-existent. Coaching? Him making poor decisions? I don't know.

Also, I think Crowl said; "Screw it! I'm going to play the way I play best!" When you watch how he's been playing over recent games, he has quit being this rebound kid, and become a guy who's not afraid to mix it up, and throw up the jump hook, which was totally non-existent in his early game.

I think you hit the nail on the head about the players. I think they feel they're playing for something. If they win the NIT, they can show they are still going to be a power next year. The only seniors on the team are Neath and Wahl. Crowl will stick around for his last year, because it could help him develop into an NBA draft pick. He has the height, just needs to continue to bang the boards more, and play even more physical.
