Gard created the Hepburn monster with the mismanaged shots at the end of games. Then watching him yelling at Essegian, as if it was his fault that Hepburn put up a bad shot? Hepburn wasn't involved in the play, and wasn't in position to set a screen. He was rotating away from the play before it started.

Screaming at Essegian on the bench, when the game goes into OT? I get this terrible feeling Essegian is going to be walking away from Wisconsin after the year is over, and I don't blame him. Gard stinks as a coach!

He fails to coach his players on how to adjust to changes in the game flow. up 15+ in the 2nd half and then they just get outplayed, and in OT they started throwing up crap shots when they got down, which just made it worse. Terrible coaching.
 
Gotta admit, I'm getting kinda tired of this team and it's ineptitude on offense. How do you score 2 points in an entire 5 minute overtime. It starts with the non-stop failures by Hepburn in end of game situations. That's gotta change and that's on Gard, not Hepburn. It didn't help that Essegian did not shoot well and that Crowl and Wahl didn't step up.

Not sure what's going on with Wahl. At one point I think he was 0 for 5 from inside 5 feet, and that's not the first time he's done something similar this season. He's a black hole on offense.

I think Gard gets the benefit of the doubt for one more year, but after that, if things don't stabilize he better watch out.
 
With PC getting fired I think it shows our AD is not going to be Barry A who is happy with success in the Big Ten. Gard better be on notice and if things don't change he will be gone.

Gard runs the same outdated offense of old. We need to stop this crap of just try to play strong D and have a offense that can barely score 50-60 a game.
 
I'll be surprised if coaches whose last names start with G are coaching in WI next year
 
Badgers Bums lost again Badgers now 4-9 in their last games. Gard needs to be fired at end of the season this team is not going to the tourney.
