Goalie Daniel Lebedeff leaves Badgers to sign with pro team near home in Finland

With our next season being in doubt, this was probably a good move on his part. He was destined to turn pro, he's just doing it a little early. At least he won't be sitting on the sidelines without a game to play.
 
There was an influx of goalies on its way with the combo of that notable transfer whose name escapes me and I think at least one incoming freshman.

Yeah, DL getting out makes sense for him, and he also likely doesn't see the defense improving into next season. If there is a next season.
