Standard 7 round mock with 3 comp picks. 1 in the 3rd. 1 in the 5th and a 7th

Round 1. Tremaine Edmunds, OLB, Virginia Tech
I don't see the other 2 big playmakers sliding this far regardless of rumor. Edmunds gives GB a playmaker LB that is all over the field. While it's possible GB nabs a corner in this slot leaving a playmaker like Edmunds on the board won't happen with the new GM.

Round 2. Brian O'Neil*, OT, Pittsburgh
GB can't go into the season without better depth on OL. While a little high for O'Neil it give AR better help up front. Not protecting him is not an option anymore.

Round 3A. Christian Campbell, CB, Penn State
Perfect size at 6'1 with a 4.4 40. He can stick with big WR in man. There will be other CB on the board but the days of square peg players in round holes needs to end. Drafting Campbell makes sense.

Round 3B. Dalton Schultz*, TE, Stanford
Big tall TE that compares to Jason Witten in Dallas, he can block and catch. Well rounded TE in GB that could play for yrs at the position.

Round 4. Siran Neal, S, Jacksonville State
GB continues to add better depth in the secondary. Neal is a small school prospect that can defend the run at SS. An aggressive defender he's an upgrade in depth.

Round 5A. Javon Wims, WR, Georgia
The Packers add a playmaker WR in Wims, 6'4 215 with solid hands he just shows up when you need a play.

Round 5B. Poona Ford, DT, Texas
Really showed well in the SR.Bowl. 6'0 305 he'll beat out Dial as a younger more athletic #2 NT/DT. Again better depth

Round 6. Mike Love, OLB, South Florida
6'4 260 with 4.6 speed. He's a tweener that has scheme flex... Somebody that our new DC can mold and use on passing downs to create mismatches.

Round 7. Skyler Phillips, G, Idaho State
Late OG depth for GB

Round 7B. Ralph Webb, RB, Vanderbilt
Here is your late gem and new #3 RB. 5'10 202 with 4.48 speed. Webb is a weapon on passing downs as receiver but he can carry the rock as well.

There you have it.

very nice. a little surprised that there isn't a qb in there, but otherwise an excellent group of draftees. i'm still not sold on taking an ol that high though.

Love the Edmunds pick. Who do you like better though, him or Davenport?

It depends what your looking for Davenport is more of a pure rusher/elephant end while Edmunds is a LB that can come at you in a lot of ways. To me Edmunds or Smith are more versatile than the pass rushing specialists are.

Edmunds by a mile and then some.

Any mock with him in it im on board. Nice cb in the 3rd. I need to do some homework on him but he looks good. Nice size

I like the love pick. Ill take crazy speed off the edge.

Nice group

Love Edmunds for our new DC to use. The only thing I'd like to see different is getting a WR in the second (or third). I know we need to protect AR, but I'm not sure O'Neill is going to start right away. I still think Spriggs is going to work out. I think Chark, Cobbs or Ateman would look good there, all big bodies with talent.
I love mock draft season!

I thought about the big body Wr however you forget we have Michael Clark on the roster, at 6'6 217, Wims fits late at 6'4 my preference though is more towards a 6'1 catches everything type WR.

Also have to see if Deangelo Yancy has made any strides. He's another big body guy that maybe needed a year to adjust to the pros. Or he may be a guy that they cut bait on.

Just have a gut feeling Edmunds is going to blow up the combine and go well ahead of us.
I'm afraid of this too. I know Mark attached a highlight reel.....but WOW! He'd look great in Green & Gold!!

Nice draft, Mark.
