Next Badgers Football Coach

I think Kansas gets another W tomorrow. Listening to some of the people following the Big 12, they say Lance is getting that team to believe in themselves. The only thing hurting right now is their fear he could be leaving, even though he's still denying having had any conversations about it with anyone, and has no plans at this time to jump ship.

If anyone wants to see what he brings to the table as an offensive coach should watch that game tomorrow. Unbeaten TCU is going to be at The Booth tomorrow. It should be a good game. It starts at 11 AM CDT so it won't interrupt the Badger game.

The next few weeks Kansas gets TCU @ home today, road games @ Baylor and Oklahoma, Oklahoma State in Lawrence and then @ Texas Tech and home vs Texas. Then @. Kansas State. That’s a gauntlet. Not sure how that plays out. But will be fun to watch

He's not but his agent is talking to UW and Nebraska heavily. Anyone that denies that is full of it. What LL has to weigh is which program is sustainable longterm. He has 10 years of coaching in him at least....where do you go to cement your legacy.

Long term based on resources, recruiting base and facilities it’s probably in order Wisconsin, Nebraska, Kansas. Now what conference gives him the best shot to win ifs probably Kansas when OU and Texas bolt.

Ok lets say Leonard does not so well as HC or does not want job and Leipold turns down the job. Who then would you want to turn too?

Depends how you define “does well”. The team is not that talented but it they play games close and goes 4-3 / 3-4 and he probably gets the gig.

I watched the TCU- Kansas game today. I really like what Leipold brings to an offense. The Jayhawks defense is definitely not that good.

The Kansas starting QB was injured just before half-time, but they played a darned good game with their second string QB in the game second half. They lost in OT, but to be honest, their offense is fun to watch.

I think after watching Bobby E use the off-set I pistol set and the RPO today the whole malarky about LL offense and some other coaches not happening is out the window. It's very plausible to think that the days of PC base offense are gone.
