PACKERS FACE THE BEARS AT LAMBEAU

Green Bay will take on division foe Chicago this Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Sunday will mark game No. 200 in the NFL’s oldest rivalry. The Packers hold a 98-95-6 edge in the series, which includes two playoff games (1-1).
Green Bay looks to sweep the regular-season series between the two teams for the 15th time in the last 26 years (since 1994) and the seventh time in the last 11 seasons.
The Packers have won nine of the last 11 meetings against the Bears at Lambeau Field.
Green Bay has won six of the last seven contests against Chicago.
Each of the last four matchups between the two teams has been decided by a touchdown or less.
It is the first time since 2008 that the Packers and Bears will play at noon CT at Lambeau Field.
It will be the sixth game Green Bay has played at noon CT this season, having won the previous five contests.
It is the first time since 1998 that the Packers and Bears have played in Week 15 at Lambeau Field.
Sunday is the start of a run of three straight divisional games to finish the regular season for the third time for the Packers since the NFC North was formed in 2002 (2006, 2016).
QB Aaron Rodgers has a career passer rating of 110.7 in regular-season home games in Dec.-Jan., ranking No. 1 in NFL history (min. 200 pass att.) according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

RODGERS AND THE BEARS

With Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterback, Green Bay is 18-5 (including playoffs) against the Bears, with one loss coming in 2013 after Rodgers left the game with an injury after the first series.
In the 23 games against Chicago, Rodgers has an overall passer rating of 103.2 and has posted a 100-plus passer rating in six of the last 10 matchups, including a rating of 130.7 at Lambeau last year.
Of the players that have attempted 250 or more passes against the Bears (including playoffs), Rodgers’ 103.2 passer rating is No. 1 in league history (No. 2 - Drew Brees, 95.4).
Rodgers has six games with a passer rating of 125-plus against the Bears, the most by any QB against the Bears in NFL history (min. 15 att.). Rodgers has three more than any other QB.

KEEPING IT GOING

Green Bay has won 10 of its first 13 games, marking the seventh time the Packers have won at least 10 of their first 13 games of the regular season since 1970 (13-0 in 2011, 11-2 in 2007 and 10-3 in 2014, 2002, 1997 and 1996).
With a win over Washington last week, Head Coach Matt LaFleur (10-3) passed Mike Holmgren and Mike Sherman (9-7) for the most NFL wins by a Packer head coach in their first season.
Green Bay is one of six NFL teams with at least 10 wins this season, with four of those teams residing in the NFC.
The Packers are 8-2 this season in Sunday games, an .800 winning percentage that ranks No. 3 in the NFL in 2019.

Green Bay joins Dallas, Kansas City and New England (all are 4-0) as the only teams to be undefeated in division games this season.

The Bears are 4th in points allowed and 26th in points scored. Packers are averaging 12.5 pts in four games with Top 8 scoring defenses. Packers are giving up an average of 11.8 pts in four games with Bottom 8 scoring offenses. This means another tight very low scoring game. Packers 13-10 because we are at home. A must win game to keep 2-seed because I don't see us winning @MN and 2-seed is our only realistic way to go to NFC Championship game.

which is why it will be a 38 - 34 packers victory.

If we play against Chicago the way we played against the Giants and Skins - that do-just-enough attitude, missing open guys, holding the ball too long - we are going to lose this one. We can beat Chicago and we should beat Chicago this year but they aren't out of it yet and every week is a must win for them. We need to play with the same focus as Week 1.

if we lose, then we will be in a "must win" situation vs the vikings. this team hasn't really faced that kind of pressure yet.

It’s going to be cold Sunday. Field position and turnovers decide it.

Packers win 24-23. Nothing pretty about a Packer - Bear game. Just hard nose football, and if you win, the right to say all kind of derogatory things about the opposition until next fall.

I'm looking forward to that kind of an off season.

Over/Under on Mitch INTs, I will set the line at 2.5. Pick a side! #ntj
