The Green Bay Packers return to Lambeau Field to face an NFC North foe, the Detroit Lions, in a primetime matchup.

Both teams enter Week 6 as the only two teams in the division with one loss and two of just five in the NFC (San Francisco, 4-0 / New Orleans and Seattle, 4-1).
Including a 1994 playoff victory, the Packers are 25-3 against the Lions in the state of Wisconsin since 1992.
Green Bay has a 27-11 overall mark against Detroit since 2000, a .711 winning percentage that is tied for No. 1 among NFL teams (Minnesota Vikings) that have played the Lions 10-plus times over that span, according to pro-football-reference.com.
The Packers have a 16-3 home record (.842) against Detroit since 2000.
QB Aaron Rodgers has led Green Bay to seven wins in nine starts at home against Detroit, throwing 17 touchdowns with just three interceptions and a passer rating of 109.4 in those games.

Rodgers has registered a passer rating of 100-plus in six of nine home games versus the Lions.
Green Bay has started the season with at least four wins in its first five games for the third time in the last five years (4-1 in 2017, 5-0 in 2015) and the seventh time since 2000 (5-0 in 2011, 4-1 in 2007, 2002 and 2001).
If the Packers win, it will be their first 3-0 start in NFC North games since 2012.
Out of the 17 teams that have played multiple division games this season, Green Bay is one of four teams with multiple wins against division opponents (New England, 3-0 / Dallas and Seattle, 2-0).

GREEN BAY ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

The Packers’ .800 winning percentage (4-1) on MNF since 2014 is No. 3 in the NFL over that span (Pittsburgh, 7-0, 1.000; Atlanta, 5-1, .833).
It is the sixth time in the last seven seasons the Packers have played at Lambeau Field on MNF.

Green Bay has won six of its last eight home games on MNF.
It is the second time in three seasons and the fourth time overall (2017, 1972, 1971) that Green Bay and Detroit will face off on MNF, with the series tied at 1-1-1.

The Lions game is the pivotal point of a shot a great season. If you beat all three of your in-division opponents the first time around, it sets you up for a decent run at the playoffs. The Packers will not come out weak against them. Expect them to score early, and quickly, during the early going.

There's no doubt the win against the Cowboys has them pumped up to add another W to their list for the year.

I'm seriously impressed as to how well they're doing to this point.

I have no idea what to expect from the Lions. The NFL is full of question mark teams and they're one of the questionmarkiest teams.

Could make POs, could finish 7-8-1.

Hard to tell, esp as they have yet to play a single division game.

We're at home, but Detroit is coming off a bye week. Big advantage.

Looks like it will be battle of GB's D vs Detroits O.

Will say Jones has another good day 90 on the ground 30 in the air with 2 TDs Rodgers will have a ok day 270 with 2 TDs

D does it's job gets 3 sacks and 2 TO's

Packers 31
Lions 23

The Packers need to make sure Stafford is not comfortable. He has only been sacked 7 times in 4 games. We need to get pressure. Stafford can throw picks when he gets uncomfortable.

The Lions D is giving up 24 points per game. They are 20th against the run and 30th against the pass. There is no reason, especially at home our O can't be very balanced against this D.

Packers- 31
Lions- 20

Tough game. Stafford is the best QB we've faced yet. Our DBs are talented but quickly went into over-hyped mode and aren't lock down by any means. Golladay and Marvin Jones are going to be a handful and both have burned us big time. Plus they've beaten us, what 4 in a row? Lions are a good team IMO - they're playing collectively well, better than the sum of their parts.

After my awful prediction about the Pack Cowboys game,I am almost afraid to blab out a score. I do expect this to be a close game as most inter division matchups are. Ahhhhhh, what the heck, GB 27 Det 24.
