Official Week 4 Green Bay vs Dallas Thread

Jerry can't stop taking digs at Parsons.

“While he does make great plays, there is also a way to approach playing against Micah. As we know, we didn’t exactly win the Super Bowl those years,” Jones said on 1053thefan.

“Some plays it looked beautiful, but then other plays — especially running plays — you wish you had a different formation.

“To be trite, we lost games with Micah.”
Well, maybe the Packers are using Micah and putting him in spots to help the entire defense be better. And while it has appeared in the past the Micah isn't great against the run, and would take plays off . . . they didn't lose just because of Micah. Look at that butt-kicking from our Packers in JerryWorld 2 seasons ago . . .

I was at the Dallas game in 2022 when Micah was a rookie and I remember thinking, why the hell is Dan Quinn having this guy play true ILB and cover Aaron Jones when he can pass rush the way he does?

Then in the playoffs, Aaron Jones almost single handedly allowed GB to win with his blitz pick ups of Parsons.

Maybe not whiff on Field Goal Blocks?
there is no reason that he should be playing on special teams. we can't afford to lose him on a pointless special teams injury. what's next? have him play linebacker too?

I agree with that.

But, if you're out there. You block the guys in the wrong colored uniforms. Especially, when you are the new Mr. Wisconsin All Around Tough Guy.

Sorry, from last week:
  • Love can't get off the hook for that Keg Man'ish pass
  • Kraft can't get off the hook for that whif.

Not about tough or nice. Tucker and Jordan crapped the bed last week at bad times, but overall they’re they two best players on GB’s offense, the team needs them and they will get every opportunity to bounce back, and if they do, no one will really remember Tucker missing that block or Jordan’s brain glitch. Is what it is.

The Packers have listed safety Javon Bullard (concussion) questionable and ruled out tackles Zach Tom (oblique) and Anthony Belton (ankle) for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Left guard Aaron Banks (groin) is doubtful after not practicing this week.
Bullard entered the concussion protocol after colliding with Packers linebacker Quay Walker in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against Cleveland. Bullard returned to practice Thursday and continued to practice in a limited capacity Friday.
Tom and Banks didn't practice this week after leaving the game against the Browns with injuries. Head Coach Matt LaFleur confirmed Friday morning that Belton also was hurt during Wednesday's practice but doesn't believe it's a "long-term" injury.
Veteran Darian Kinnard briefly rotated at right tackle with Banks against Washington before the rookie second-round pick handled all the second-half reps there in a 27-18 victory.
