And add in that Douglas and Campbell's contracts are up also and would think be on a priority list.

Can make some cuts of course but then who do you replace those players with?

Some ppl here sat cut Crosby but solid kickers are hard to come by and this season proved the importance of having a good one. Yes he had some mishaps but how much of that was in the LS and holder and what was on him?

T you can't afford those guys,

Crosby, CAP # $4,735,000
Campbell 2022 Valuation: $15,109,000 UFA
Douglas 2022 Valuation: $11,462,000 UFA

You must in 30 days shave 54 million. And keep it there...yes they can rework some contracts but this year is about the draft. Rookie Kicker time.
 
The only real two contracts that can be restructured are Bak and Clark, and that only helps a fraction of what’s needed.
The pain is coming.
Prepare for 2-3 very lean years.

I tried on Spotrac. If I extend Rodgers get his cap number to 30 million. Restructure Bak, Clark, Jones and extend Amos and Alexander and cut Both Smiths and Turner, Lowery, Cobb, Crosby, Lewis, That just gives you enough money to tag Adams and sign draft picks. But means you won't have any money to sign a FA and are razor thin going into the season.

Does Rodgers want to come back on a team that would have only 6 other players not on a rookie contract? This team won't win with just Rodgers, Jones, Adams, Dillion as only offensive weapons and Only 2 players on D you will be counting on to win for you is Gary and Alexander.

This team is a 9 or 10 win team this way. You could likely get that with Love as QB and not chopping your roster to hell and putting yourself into future cap hell.

i disagree. there's very little chance that love gets us 9 or 10 wins in his first season as a starter. he'd have to be better than rodgers was in his first season.

and honestly, even if rodgers and adams are gone, you're still going to be chopping your roster to hell. it's time to just blow it all up and let mlf build the team he wants.
