Packers 2022 Thread

What was wrong with the punter we picked up this year? Was he a bad holder? Wasn't he kicking booming punts that changed field position?

Maybe I was taking early breaks
Horrible holder

It's done but now need to get deals done with Alexander and Adams as you have zero cap space left.

There seems to be a heckuva lot of void years being added to contracts.. how does that impact cap down the road?
It’s a semi-minimal effect ONLY if they play out their full contracts. If a player leaves early with years left on a contract, all the void stuff accelerated into that year they left.

So was looking Jalen Ramsey is highest paid CB in NFL signed a 5 year $100 million deal with Rams that paid him $71 million in guarantees with $43.7 million fully guarnteed. So if Alexander agent says 5 years $110 million $80 in guarntees with $50 fully guaranteed GB has no choice but to say OK.

Well... with Adams gone not only do opposing DC have a lot more flexibility with coverages they can also commit more to stopping the run without fear of Adams...
I dunno?
With Adams everybody knew AR was 90% likely to throw him the ball. So that’s where they would frequently shade double coverage. With Adams there was very little “illusion of complexity” which ML preaches about his offense. 12 & 17 made sure of that.

So maybe now we finally get back to this illusion of complexity, and see this offense operate the way ML had originally intended it.

Two cents
