Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

People in the media have strong prior biases against him, they made up their minds after the KC game in 2021. There’s new flavor of the week QBs coming into the league every year so Love gets pushed into the background.
i agree. it doesn't help that every year it seems a new qb comes into the league and is immediately successful, but love didn't hit the field as a starter until three years into his contract.

Kenny Clark said he had foot surgery in January. He hurt his foot opening game against Philly and it effected him the whole season
Reminds me of one of my favorite long-running threads on Twitter: the injury reports that actually come out at the end of the hockey season, to wit:

"Matthew Tkachuk says he tore the adductor off the bone and was dealing with a hernia on the same side of his body at the end of the regular season and the playoffs were in doubt for him."

Tkachuk and the Panthers hoisted the Stanley Cup

Don't compare football players to Hockey Players. It's not fair to them.

Hockey players are the toughest of the bunch, but i’m sympathetic to a lot of NFL players with injuries. The physics of the game and the playing surfaces in the NFL are so unforgiving, it’s just harder to play injured. An NFL lineman playing 100lbs over where his body wants to be, if he plants his leg wrong in the turf, there is so much torque that impacts his already stressed tendons and ligaments.

Now don’t confuse that with certain guys like this WR from Baltimore who refuses to play if the temp is under 45 degrees…
