Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

I'm not against signing the guy, it's just a little odd that GB has typically been so conservative about spinal fusion surgeries - they let go of Nick Collins and Jermichael Finley because of the same injuries. I guess not every one is the same and they wouldn't be hosting if they weren't comfortable with the medical. Still, seems to be a departure.

I do not want the Packers to sign Samuel, Jr. Injury history? Size?

Coming back this year, i anticipate he will be shy going into contact. Don't we have too many poor tacklers?

Hoping this visit is just to placate the wolves at the gate.

We're in a pickle, damned if you do, damned if you don't. I'd prefer adding someone over staying put but I don't have a strong feeling about this one way or the other.

1) Ditto. 2) Ditto (almost). 3) Ditto.

1) He's small and he has a spinal fusion. His position and he has a spinal fusion??? Uh. No.

I realize that I'm speaking only as someone who has known a person or two with a spinal fusion... and being able to twist in midair and 'follow the ball' would not one of their talents. Being careful about how they move and twist the spine continues to be. Years after.....and these are not couch potatoes.

I would like to hear Bud's opinion.

2) The 'almost' is only because I couldn't care less about their money or contracts.

3) Same.

I really hope if the Packers acquire him, he exceeds all our expectations.

I am NOT looking forward to MNF.

i ditto your dittos.

MLF asked on Lloyd again and said he was sent out west to another group to try and get his body right.

Sounds like the team has given up on trying to figure why he won't get healthy if he's out seeing specialists to try to figure it out.

He's going to be a guy who is going to have to be a bubble player in TC. 2 years and he will have only played 10 snaps.
