Anthony Belton dropped 30 pounds during the offseason, was 336 now 306.... for a OG that's weird

Maybe team told him cut weight and think he would be faster close to 300.

For OG ? They drafted him because they wanted to maul people in the run game after that Philly playoff loss the year before....so this is counterproductive to that end.

Isn't Belton the guy I was excited about because it appeared we finally drafted an offensive lineman with a nasty attitude, then you talked to somebody you know at Clemson who basically said good luck with that guy not getting trucked? And, unfortunately your buddy has been right?

He improved as the year went on, but he needs to reduce the number of penalties. And who knows, maybe the 30 lbs of loss was losing fat while adding a bit of muscle?
