Packers 2026/27 Season Thread

I see people still talking about trading for Richardson. I see no reason why to. I think Ridder is better then Richardson right now. Only thing Richardson has going for him is a strong arm. I believe his contract is around $5-6 million this year. He struggles reading a defense and his worth ethic with wanting to be pulled to rest in a middle of a drive is poor. If Love were to miss time I would have zero confidence that Richardson could do anything. I rather stick with Ridder or go with a guy like Will Levis if you could get him for like a 7th rounder.

Yahoo sports NFL power ratings after the draft: Lions #1, Bears #7, Packers #16, Vikings #19. I think the Lions and Bears are a bit over-rated?

I can't tell if the Lions window is closed or if they're being slept on big time. Have to look at the roster and see what they did this off season, they had big interior OL issues.

Anyway, personally I'm happy to see GB down that far, the whole team plays much better with an underdog mentality. Get fired up, earn your way back.

Lions dealt with injuries last year so I think they can be right back up there again if healthy this year.

IMO the Bears are not going to be what they were last year. They are not going to get all these other teams falling apart late in the game and get all these fluke comeback wins or lead the league again in turnovers.

Gute can't admit he bombed the pick. LVN is not worth that. In 3 years he's looked like more of a career backup then even an average starter let alone elite pass rusher.
For the money it's worth it, they're going to need the depth while Parsons and Wyatt work their way back. LVN is currently still younger than Wyatt was when Wyatt was drafted.

the contract though is for next year at the $13 million.
