Packers 2026/27 Season Thread

The writers posting about getting ML are doing it for clicks on there tweets and to have people read there articles. That's 99% of media today is to try to be a shock jock writer and say and write stuff that can be controversial so what you post gets liked and shared.

The average fan screaming on social media to fire ML is most likely under 40 years old and has never seen a constant losing Packers team. So in their world if you are not winning a Super Bowl or at least going to the conference championship all the time you suck as a coach and should get fired.

Most of these fools have no idea how good the Packer fans have it that this team has been a constant winning team over the last 30 plus years. Outside a few more clubs no other team has probably had it better then the Packers. Only 5 losing seasons in 34 seasons. To go with that they have went to 3 Super Bowls winning 2. Most fans would give there left arm to have that type of success. What would these clowns do if they have to follow a team like the Browns who have had only 4 winning seasons in 27 seasons since they returned or be a Miami fan not having won a playoff game in over 25 years.

If the Packers had fired Matt LaFleur they would have not found a better coach. You could have very well step backwards with the team including how Jordan Love plays. The head coach can only do so much with what he is given. Almost all fans will say Gutenkust has not done well in his drafting or free agency. If you do that you can't blame the head coach for not getting subpar talent to the Super Bowl.

But Matt and Brian are now tied at the hip for several more years in GB. Hopefully Gute starts getting this roster depth fixed and Matt can then use better quality talent to get this team over the hump and make Green Bay titletown once again.

Maybe i'm exaggerating a little but I appreciate that the guy drills his team to do what he wants to do and he makes damn sure they can do it. I'm impressed how well they did with their injuries.

He and his coaches had that team performing well, despite the injuries. Again, they have an identity and their players buy in.
