Packers 2026/27 Season Thread

As we all know, hitting the PT hard is important. I realize my PT wasn't anything nearly as concentrated as a professional athlete, but I realized that I could actually see and feel improvement EVERY DAY. My ortho surgeon said he did the same surgery on a professional football player and it was a full year of rehab before he even attempted to play again, so I guess I shouldn't feel bad that at 10 months I'm at about 90% (given I'm 64 and not 25 I shouldn't complain). Still stiff every day, and probably the 1 thing I can't do yet is run without feeling like it's going to give out - and that's always the hardest thing for those athletes is to get to a point where they can run again without worrying about it - I get it now.
You're right on track my friend and I am glad you are on the mend. These athletes are so well conditioned that pre-hab really helps in the process.

Couple players on this list interest me.

Greg Newsome II has been linked to GB before in articles but I think Braxton Jones could maybe be a good buy low guy to have as backup depth at tackle.

out of those ten guys, i'd rather have newsome. jones seems to be injury-prone.

Sam Sewell is in his third season with the Cardinals after being hired as assistant special teams coach on 3/1/23. He came to Arizona from Eastern Michigan where he coached running backs for four years (2019-22) and added the title of special teams coordinator in 2022. Sewell has 13 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level, including eight seasons coaching special teams.

I would actually do this. If you don't pay him and he comes back and has a strong year you have to put the FT on him then.
