There is not one person who can say something negative about Bob Harlan. He was kind and generous. Would give any time to talk to. Probably the only NFL leader who would answer his own phone if someone called him on the job be it another owner or just a common fan. Bob Harlan is also responsible for making sure the Packers and Lambeau Field is what it is today. This was a team on the verge of going broke. They new they had to do something with Lambeau Field to modernize it. When they went to ask taxpayers to fund over $200 million to remodel the stadium it was met with backlash. There was a lot of worry that the proposal was not going to pass. So Bob Harlan went out door to door in Brown County talking up the project and what could happen without it. It barely passed the vote and it's almost a guarantee that without Harlan going door to door it would not have passed.

He's also responsible for bring back the Packers from what was the worst destination in the league to one or the premier teams in the league. He was the one who convinced the BOD to give Ron Wolf total control of the team as in the past the BOD had always stuck their fingers into running the team making it the mess it was. When Ron Wolf wanted to trade for Brett Favre and they brought it up the BOD hated the idea. He asked Ron to leave the room and told the BOD if you deny this Wolf will quit and we will never get another quality GM to take this job ever again. Long story short the BOD approved the trade and history changed for this team.

RIP to one of the greatest men to ever be part of this franchise.
 
So sorry to hear of his passing. I remember when I first started watching the Packers in 1979 and he eventually became president of the club. He made so many decisions that put the Packers in the position that they are now. From the interviews I saw on TV, he seemed like a down to earth kind of guy. He will be missed.
 
If Gute just goes to the draft and hopes a draft pick can help this group the team is going to be in for a long season.

Keisean Nixon ranked in the top 10 in the NFL in pass breakups last season, he ranked 51st in passer rating allowed among the 61 cornerbacks targeted at least 50 times, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. Fellow starting cornerback Carrington Valentine ranked 60th.

the packers cannot afford to have two of the worst starting corners in the nfl again this year.
 
Solid trade for GB. Solid replacement for Walker

Franklin has had 100+ tackles in last 4 years. Last year was his worst year in last 4 years but still had 125 tackles 2 sacks and 6 QB hits playing all 17 games

In 2024 Franklin had best year of his career with 173 tackles 3.5 sacks and 11 TFL and was 2 team AP.

Franklin has 2 years left on contract. 2026 at $6.24 million with $45K per game roster bonuses and 2027 at $8.24 million with $45K per game roster bonuses.
 
Colts fans saying he sucks but the Colts changed there defense scheme last year. Under Gus Bradley they ran a lot of Cover 3 moving to a different scheme under there new DC. Josh Gannon ran a lot of cover 3 in AZ.
