NFL offseason winners and losers: Which teams actually improved?

i'll save you some time. according to this article, the packers are offseason losers. why? because they got rid of underperforming and/or overpriced players and replaced them with young talent.

Green Bay Packers

For a team coming off back-to-back wild-card-round exits and that hasn’t reached the conference championship game since the 2020 season, the Packers had a rather blah offseason. They lost top wide receiver Romeo Doubs, left tackle Rasheed Walker and linebacker Quay Walker, and they also saw cornerback Nate Hobbs and versatile offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins depart. On top of that, they’re dealing with the uncertainty swirling around Josh Jacobs’ domestic violence charges.

The Bears won the NFC North last season, and the Vikings and Lions are also both threats, so the Packers will need several young players to assume larger roles if they hope to reach the playoffs this fall.

The Lions starting secondary has been engulfed in volcano fire, the Vikings HC is now involved in the Diana Rossini sex scandal and the Bears have no defensive front plus are about to start sharing office space with Oscar the Grouch in an Indiana dumpster. I'd say all four teams in the North have their issues.

i didn't say i agreed with the article. in fact, i thought we improved the roster quite a bit this offseason. of course, we won't know for sure until the games are played.

Oh I'm with you. All these teams have their problems, they all have the injuries and they all have playmakers. Going to come down to how well the injuries heal up and whose playmakers play the best.
