Packers Career ending Neck injuries

Since Tim Lewis (1986) the Packers have had 13 career ending neck injuries. They have had 8 since Terrence Murphy (2005) This seems like an extraordinarily high number. I wonder what other teams have experienced?

Interesting read. I think it's more about how players have gotten bigger and stronger and the game more violent. GB just has had some bad luck in this area.
