Packers will not use St. Norbert College for training camp due to COVID-19 concerns

For the first time since 1958, the Green Bay Packers will not be using St. Norbert College as its living quarters for their preseason training camp.

For the first time since 1958, the Green Bay Packers will not be using St. Norbert College as its living quarters for their preseason training camp.

Instead, the Packers will hold all of its training camp operations inside Lambeau Field, including meals at St. Norbert normally provides to players in camp. The team says it is finalizing its housing arrangements for this month’s camp.

The NFL has installed protocols to have teams use their own facilities during camp to guard against exposure to coronavirus.

Packers players have lived in on-campus dormitories for camp since 1958, the year before Vince Lombardi became the team’s head coach.

Would be a great promotional gimmick for an RV dealer to provide each player their own RV for the entirety of TC.
Park them all in the Lambeau lot, and then sell them when regular season starts, each one autographed/personalized by the player that stayed in it.

Players with homes in GB will likely get to stay at home. I don't think people will want a RV used by some no name guy on back end of roster or a camp body and the RV place then having to sell it as a used RV since it was lived in for a month.
 
I think that they will not allow fans at camp. Will either have them practice on Lambeau field or bus them down to Hutson center and tarp off the fields like they do in regular season so fans cant stand and watch and close off the bleachers.
 
I never underestimate Packer fans. ggg(.

I would think that team would want to keep players isolated with each other during camp.
Going back/forth to home risks outside exposure imo.

that sounds like the plan is to keep the team isolated from public exposure.
 
It's going to be interesting seeing how this plays out. Our new QB has an apartment and furnished it, so he's thinking he's gonna be able to use it. Probably not during camp, but after that.

Yes the Equanimous St Brown RV would be in high demand
 
Keeping these guys under wraps for an extended period of time is going to be very difficult.
