Post Game Bears beat Packers in OT 22-16

And, I got stuck working so I didn't see Love get hit. But, he got hit hard? Why?

5 guys in front of him that don't need to be on the team next year. No heart, no strength, no Chutzpah. Seriously, even if we need to find 9 new guys, it's a better chance they have more balls and backbone than our guys.
This has been my biggest beef with GB front office for like a decade. They’re complete refusal to go out and find legit NFL OL starters. Instead it’s always some after thoughts who should be backups.

This team is exactly who I thought it would be. Do I think all of these guys play as hard as they can? For the most part yes, but the overall talent on this team is just not that high. And when injuries hit GB doesn’t have the next man up type of player. It’s just how it is this year.

GB still has a chance to be a ten win team. With this roster that’s impressive.

No Parsons, no Kraft, no Tom, no Wyatt, no E. Williams . Lose Love to a cheap shot.

And they should have won. Bears make a 55 yard FG in this wind, Brinson grabs a face mask on 3rd and 20, Doubs can't catch an onside kick. Jacobs fumbles at the goal line.

You can bitch about it or realise that even with all those injuries and on the road we were the better team. When healthy this would be a SB team this season based on what's out there league wide.

Not necessarily disagreeing and not attacking but thats like saying, we beat the Super Bowl Champion therefore we're the better team. Its easy to sit and say if so and so happened and we didn't lose all these people, the 10 lead to Browns, The 16-6 lead or 16-9 lead with under 2mins didn't happen, etc etc. Every team could say and do that. The reality is that they lost. Someone can sit on their couch and fantasize in a perfect world that this is the better team but guess what? That scoreboard didn't say that now, did it?

I'll go one further. How many shots did they have from inside the 5 last night? I think it was 4 with 6 points to show. You cannot be down there, deep in the red zone, and continue to not score TDs, and win consistently.

I feel bad for getting on the defense last night. It was a total team meltdown. All phases, even if mildly better, and the outcome is probably different. I would have to go back to the onside kick to review it, but in real time, my bigger concern was how Doubs was the hands man there but the others, knowing and seeing the ball was going to Doubs, should have picked up their Bears counter part. It didn't seem like they attacked, blocked and shielded appropriately

First off, I don't like our ST Philosophy BUT.... last night isn't on the coach boys and girls. Doubs had a great night catching the ball, so he's on the hands team, textbook, no other coach in the NFL doesn't put him out there. He muffed it... thats not a coach thing..thats a why we won't resign him moment.

Defense. No more "My god, someone is going to steal Hafley" talk, please. He's okay... better scheme than dingleBerry, but if someone wants him for an HC... see ya! We have had so many schematic brain farts it's not funny. Last night didn't have to be a loss if he made 4-6 different calls.

In my only I-told-you-so moment today, the corners in Green Bay are not good enough. @rpiotr01 THIS is on Gute 100% as well as the OL issue below. He knew it going in and never went out and got help—all Gute.

Offense. As always, no Love no dice. Willis is okay, but once the new rubbed off and the Bears adjusted, we still couldn't do much... listen close "If he was outstanding, he's not a backup in GB, he's starting in Tennessee. That's reality. Some team will sign him...go watch how it turns out. I'll wait.

The OL we started got Love hurt. It's still an issue. We didn't really have a playmaker step up and step out on offense last night. If Kraft is healthy, 2 of those FG are TD.

Overall, I am surprised it was that close. If they win one more and win 10, then they are who I thought they were.

Here is your big concern, Packer fans, no #1 for 2 years. The guy you traded for is out 9 months, and ask @Budman, you never know if the man you get back will ever be the same after an ACL, very iffy.

So now what? If your realistic, you have a bunch of holes to fill on that roster: LT, two corners, another TE, Edge, DT.

Policy F'ed this up out of the gate, and everyone can hate this, but we were NOT 1 player away.

Last bit... we really don't need to sneak into the playoffs, an off-season of getting healthy and rethinking things might be the best.

Good summation and on point. There's nothing to add. Well said.

Bears acting like they doimnated the Packers DJ Moore wearing a cheese grater hat in locker room. Laugh it up Bears when the Packers shove that hat were the sun don't shine in the playoffs.

Not sure you can say it better than this. A bitter pill to swallow.
