Come on Jordan just say I screwed up on the throw made a bad choice and have to learn not to do that again.

That is not a useful answer from the X’s and O’s perspective. He was asked to describe the play and what he saw. He took responsibility.
Per love it was triple sync timing route the Browns switched from zone to man and the corner passed off Kraft to the Safety .... Love says he never saw him.
No thats not the case and after all these years, I am going to explain this one last time. They use pre-determined timing routes that go to a spot...if you're not there or the defense bites or in this case a corner passes off to a safety, then you're getting a pass broken up, an incompletion or a pick. I saw AR do that his last year here and it was the same deal....
That was the #1 D in the NFL... they are not that by chance, they are that because their DC understands how to disrupt a route concept.If anything it's a dumb play call by ML considering the field postion but then again we couldn't run block worth spit today either.

Triple slants trying to ice the game away, not sure if I love that call. If it works fine, but you’re putting a lot of guys into the same part of the field with a lot of defenders, inviting the D to make a play. Jordan of course needs to see the guy but I think poor all around.
At this point, bad play call and their defense made a switch at the perfect time.. learn from it and move on to Dallas. Lots of season left.

I said last week if I were a teams DC watching our OL I would be calling a blitz nearly every play. Our OL would not be able to pick it up making Love had to be at the top of his game.

Both the Lions and Washington were run blitzing like crazy, GB did fantastic picking it up and Love was clean. They were even getting guys open on max protect stuff.
The Browns rushed 4. They have a lot of really good DL and that’s to say nothing of Garrett. GB had to keep guys in just block those 4 which left CLE with lots of guys in coverage and fewer options for Love. That’s why every team wants to be able to rush with just 4. That’s the ideal but way easier said than done.
