useless that miss calls week after week and are useless and how the NFL are cowards who refuse to do anything about it and protect the refs like little babies. That would be worth paying a fine and then the owner slips the coach or player some cash afterwards to pay for it.two things about this video:
1) it seems a little overly critical of jordan love at times, but he does back off near he end of the video and say that he's being pretty picky. still, he does make a few good points about where love could improve.
2) i would not expect the bears defense to make the same kinds of mistakes in two weeks. so hopefully, ml dials up a slightly different game plan next time.
watch the video above and see what the outside world thinks about the refereeing in this game. if anyone has the right to complain about the refereeing, it is the packers. and hopefully the packers are sending in game film of all the holding calls that didn't get called vs micah parsons to the nfl. probably won't do much good, and i'm not sure if ml ever actually does this. even bears fans were commenting on the fact that the bears got the benefit of a lot of bad calls and non-calls.I'm hearing a lot of talk about the refereeing in this game incentivizing Bears play in the upcoming game. (Surprisingly much of it from non-Packers fans.) Game 2 of this rivalry could be a real barnburner!

i think if the referees started enforcing the actual rules consistently and fairly, the players would stop trying to take advantage of the lack of enforcement, and it would clean up the game. stop using the excuse that "there's holding on every play" to encourage players to hold on every play, for example. these are the most talented football players in the world. i'm sure that if they knew they would get flagged for holding, they would stop doing it.The NFL has been piss poor at attempting to have a relatively "fair" refereeing system. If the players can be given outrageous salaries, then the game needs to be officiated by "the best" refs that they can produce (full time well paid refs). No system will be perfect, but gosh darn they can do better than what they've got now. Some people say that their excuse is "it would slow down the game" which to me implies that ensuring maximum proceeds from the networks takes precedence over giving the consumers better officiating. I would be surprised if they have not had design proposals for systems that would be better than what we have now. View attachment 1264
