I think it more or less validates the game he called last week against the Vikings, which a lot of people complained about. I think the bigger thing will be how he calls these games going forward.
 
I'm a take the points guy.

3 times we went for it on 4th. All 3 times, I was against it. I would have kicked 2 fieldgoals.

We would have been down 1 and desperate for a fieldgoal. Maybe it would have been worse because we would have been chasing the Lions.

Also, the last one, I was against until the miracle catch.

I'm still a take the points guy. Today being aggressive won the day. Today, I was wrong.
 
Lions players complaining about the refs. Ironic though he is same player who held Watson hand and got away with DPI later in the game.

 
Some interesting snap totals here

Melton played as many snaps at WR then Heath did.

Jordan Morgan played only 5 snaps in the game all on ST.

Hopper still does not seem to be trusted to play LB as he only played 17 out of 63 snaps showing GB ran mostly different sub packages that did not require him to be on the field.

that dude could have been called for multiple PI and defensive holding penalties - he needs to go back and watch some tape, and then keep his mouth shut.

some other interesting facts:

both teams played exactly 63 snaps on offense and 63 snaps on defense. one team scored 7 points more than the other with the same number of snaps. a true old-school slugfest.

looks like whyle played almost the same number of snaps as musgrave, and there were six snaps when they both played.

also our entire starting ol played 100% of snaps on offense and every field goal/extra point kick. the lions ol did the same.

and these guys all played at least 90% of the defensive snaps:

and, other than parsons, those guys also played some snaps on special teams. the lions only had two players that played every defensive snap.

and finally, they did all this on three days rest. this goes to show just how much this game meant to the teams.
