Starting offense looked OK though the OL seemed to not get much push on the goal line.
Defense is looking solid. Heck, even the back-ups were winning against Oakland's starters at time. That was good to see. Seems we may lack some star-power on defense, but overall the depth is good and there seem to be fewer weak spots than in the past. Of course if there are any DL injuries, that will change in a hurry.
WRs are hard to evaluate because of the QB play. Callahan is not a very good QB and unfortunately, Williams might be worse in the sense that is not a good passer and came from a spread offense in college. I don't think either one can win you a regular season game. They will not go into the season with either one on the roster. Maybe one or the other ends up on the PS, but if Hundley can't go week 1 they will find a veteran and carry 3 QBs at least for a while.
Surprises for me so far: (FYI - I missed some parts of the game last night.)
Bradford looks the part all of a sudden. He's looked lost for 2 years but seems like the light went on for him.
Back-up DBs are looking really solid. There will be some tough decisions for TT depending on how many safeties and corners they carry.
Murphy played for the first time last night and was not a disaster. Early camp reports had him struggling a bit, but he did not seem that bad last night. He might grab the 9th OL spot if they keep that many.
Barclay - actually not a total surprise, but a surprise in a bad way. I thought he'd be better another year after the ACL, but on some plays last night he was just getting pushed back way too easily. Time to move on I think.
